Han Fangming, Chairman of the Charhar Institute, met with Jan Ha-sung, ambassador of the Republic of Korea (ROK) to China, in Beijing on November 27th, 2019.  Chairman Han visited the ambassador’s official residence upon invitation. 

The two sides exchanged views on an extensive range of topic regarding the Korean Peninsula’s situation, China-ROK relations and other issues that both sides were concerned with.

After the meeting, Ambassador Jang Ha-sung held a banquet for Chairman Han Fangming and his colleagues.  

Jia Qingguo, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee, Member of the International Advisory Committee of the Charhar Institute, and Professor of the School of International Studies of Peking University, Ambassador Li Qiangmin, Secretary-General designate of the Charhar Institute and former Consul General of China in Houston of the U.S., Chen Naixiong, Vice President of the Council of the Charhar Institute, and Lee Choong Myon, Political Envoy of the ROK’s Embassy in China attended the meeting.
